Simthetiq is pleased to announce that it has been tasked to support the upgrade of the Royal Canadian Air Force’s (RCAF) Mission Rehearsal Tactical Trainer for the CH-146 Griffon Helicopter.
Simthetiq was contracted to digitally scan the RCAF CH-146 Griffon Helicopter and develop a high-fidelity 3D model from this digital asset. This highly precise training model will be deployed in the RCAF’s VR-based gunnery and rear-crew training system for the CH-146 Tactical Helicopter.
Simthetiq’s expertise in developing immersive digital content is supported by their work in developing an open architecture, digital twin software framework that allows complex, digital data from various sources to be exploited for operational, simulation and training uses.
We will be demonstrating key elements of our digital twin software framework at Canada’s Global Defence and Security Trade show, CANSEC, that will take place at the EY Center in Ottawa from June 1st to 2nd 2022.
