Simthetiq, a leading provider of 3D content for the defense sector, is pleased to announce that it is adding more than 300 synthetic virtual terrains to its 3D library of cross-platform simulation content.
Customers will be able to utilize these immersive, open-source, Geospecific environments for a wide range of different training and simulation scenarios – from development of military tactics and CONOPs to flight simulation or crisis and emergency management.
These 3D synthetic environments will be offered in all of the same correlated output formats already available for Simthetiq’s library of 3D Simulation Entity Models – including OpenFlight CDB, VBS4 and Unreal Engine.
At I/ITSEC 2024, Simthetiq will be showcasing geospecific synthetic environments of airfields and tactical training environments in Unreal Engine 5. These synthetic terrains will be integrated in a full-scale, accurate WGS84 whole earth terrain that leverages the Cesium for Unreal plugin.
This new update to their 3D Library further signals Simthetiq’s recognised expertise in supporting NATO simulation and training customers, including those who are adopting Unreal Engine based technology solutions, with a large, flexible library of immersive and fully functional 3D simulation content solutions.
