Simthetiq Accepting Pre-Orders on 7 New Geo-Specific Airfields

 

MONTREAL, Canada (February, 2011)

Simthetiq is in the midst of completing of a series of seven geo-specific airfields, originally developed for the FAA (Federal Aviation Association) and conforming to all strict FAA standards. Available for easy integration into any OpenFlight™ compatible platform, each airfields is configured using the latest airport diagrams and accurate elevation data. The result is a completely realistic environment that allows for any type of proper procedural training—day or night—including approach, taxiing, take-off, and air traffic control to name a few. Now pilots of all levels can acquire hands-on experience in a cost-effective manner and ultimately prepare them for a wide variety of situations and emergencies.

Incorporated into every airfield are an array of important features that combined, achieve a most effective and immersive experience for the trainee. These include but are not limited to, detailed ground textures and surfaces, an array of major airport buildings (such as terminals, hangars and control towers), all pertinent navigational aids, markings and approach lights, and even options for high resolution geo-specific satellite imagery for the surrounding terrain to name a few.
